Nothing that lasts more than a year. Every summer she gets a collection of small scares on her hands and arms and by the next summer they have all but disappeared.

A flat chested rectangle. While not sporty she is out-doorsy and this has left her well toned so she is strong compared to other girls in school (ehem Jenny).

Light colored, but in the summer she gets a nice warm tan.

She loves being outside, so just about anything she can do outside that is not sport related.

Going home. She needs to get back home.

A quick temper. She likes things black and white. Has a hard time with sarcasm, not that she can't understand it she just doesn't like it. When stress, worry, and her short temp get compounded; she tends to get physical.

She has a little grudge against Jenny and absolutely hates Ylli but other than that she's good.

Being outdoorsy she can climb trees, start a fire, and swim.

She loves the family dog.

Ummm... she does not carry one, but she would probably be happy with a sturdy stick.

Meara loves the family dog Jacob. He may be old and a little smelly, but he was her father's dog and now that he's gone Jacob is very special.

She is 14. She goes to school.

Republican. But she is not even 16 yet so she doesn't really pay any attention.

Meara's family attends the only church in Cosgrove which is Blessings Baptist Church.

Meara grew up in Cosgrove. Her father plowed the roads in the winter and repaired them in the summer. Three winters before our story begins her father died in a plowing accident. Her mother, who was already working part-time as realtor in the next town over, started taking more hours. Her bother, Danny, also quit school as a graphics designer to get a job to help the family. Meara has been left to herself in all this and when she is not at school she is probably outside even in the cold Michigan winters.

Currently in her second semester of ninth grade
