In his beast form (and later on his restored human form) he has a small scar on his mouth, on the left.

Past: he seems always pissed, inclined to rage and rage bursts. He stays on his own and is not good at socializing. Grumpy, and he's mean with almost everyone

Beast: violent, malicious, ambiguous. He's likely to fight everyone in his way, maybe tearing apart some guts, and THEN making friends...if you survive.
He's also competitive and annoying.

His most recurring goal is to pass completely as male (as being trans is hard), and it's the thing that drives him to do the things he does, even behaving badly: he thinks that if he's rude and mean he'll pass as a completely masculine person (and an asshole too, even if he doesn't want to).

Whereas, as a beast he doesn't have a goal. He's, of course, driven by his guts, instincts and feral wants; but he doesn't follow something.

He's too paranoid, excluding the mean/bad/macho men persona he wants to have in public. It would be really simple without all the shenanigans he pulls out on his mind, but he lives in constant fear of being made fun of by others.
Another flaw is his anger bursts. These can happen as a sort of panic attack, where the only escape, for him, is to freak inexplicably out. This can hurt someone feelings, but he's the one who really lose.

One of his mental shield he created during his teen years protects him from everyone that could hurt him, so he does have lots of prejudices towards kinda everyone. But if someone gets to know him better he'll lower his defense, and have absolutely 0 malice.

Does being good at video games count as talent?
When he turned 14, he started playing the guitar too, and he was quite good at it.

He had his boyfriend's headband. It was one with pink pearls, and he used it to relieve stress. Then the runaway thing happened, and he threw it away, or maybe, in his beast form, he ate it, not recognizing it.
Speaking of which, his beast form has its yellow fur: he loves it because it enlarges his look and makes him look tougher. He will deny it's only a fur coat tho, cause it goes for his pride.

During a fight, he prefers using mostly his claws, but he sometimes appeals to biting his preys.

Daniel always had something off - like problems at socializing, making friends, accepting or liking his body, or not being bullied by everyone who got to know him -, and when he finally understood the origin of these problems, he accepted it hastily: he started acting all grumpy, bitterly, and at times even like a tough - he started doing what he thought a boy would do. His family didn't take it well (although his sister did), and continued using his dead name. Things didn't go well for a long time, and this only changed him to a more isolated person.

He then saw a glimmer of hope with Florence, the only one who ever tried to befriend him. Their friendship later became romance, and it all didn't seem so bad. But good things never last forever, so one unfortunate day, the demons that Daniel thought were gone, reappeared all together - and he wasn't prepared to deal with them. So he fled, far, far away in the woods, and no-one ever found him again.

He received a standard education, and his family always managed to send him to good schools.

However, in the last few years of high school, they had to pull him out of public school for “disciplinary problems” (another word to say “he defended himself from bullies, and eventually started to beat the hell out of them”) and put him in a private school.
