Hajime is their birth/dead name. Nobody refers as this anymore after she came out.

After her parents divorced from verbal/emotional abuse on their father's side, Harley, her mom, and her brother packed up and moved to Driftwood City.
When she first came to school, she was bullied for being the "weak and wimpy new kid," this is how she met Jacklyn, a goth student that was also bullied for being different.
After coming out to Jacklyn about being trans, Jacklyn let her borrow some of her makeup, and after the school caught her wearing it, she was made fun of for being trans.
After Nikki apalogized on the popular kids behalf, she ended up being best friends with them.
