Mella has been catholic since her mother died, because her dad always prayed that if she had to die it should be without pain, the doctors told them she died in peace and painless in sleep, so she started believing in God.

Mellas mum was ill since she gave birth to her. It was a genetically disease and it was obvious Mella and her siblings would get it too. So after her mother died, when Mella was three, they waited. Liliane, her older sister, got it when she was 16, Mella was 11, and died just a bit after. Her dad fell into depression and became an alcoholic. That did not really help to his cancer, so her dad died when she was 15. Then only her brothers Jerenai and Kojele (Seeiously what names?) were left of her family. Jerenai became like a father for her because he already was 26. When Kojele turned 20 he moved to Europe because he wanted to study there. Poor Mella had only one brother left and even he moved on to a girl which he married soon, so 19 year old Mella had to be an adult at that age and buy a flat, get a job... Understandable that she already fell into depression when she was 16. Her tattoo was like a lifeline, just like Denia. She really wanted one so she thought of the names Liliane and Marise(her mother) but then Denia came up with this idea and now everytime she just has one negative or depressive thought she looks at her tattoo. You still think your life is fucked up? (Sorry for the language)

Mella was the quiet girl that never said anything, but had a really great fantasy and much intelligence, so she got great grades but her oral marks weren’t that good

The family had a dog after the mother died, it was called Tammy. Tammy was a big Labradoodle and was on Mellas side for 12 years.
