She and Erion go into town once during the time of the Wasting. Newcomers are staring openly at her, Kraio notices them pointing and whispering and is confused about it. They leave the store. Kraio realizes he has left something and goes back in: Overhears one say "How can you stand her being here? Walking about in the open like that?"
"What [enter curse] do you mean?" the shopkeeper says, his face growing red.
"You're not bothered by a diseased Lianian wandering around here? With that poor boy too?"
The other newcomer chimes in "Probably has the Wasting on her."
"Now you listen. You are the newcomers here. We don't take kindly to that kind of talk here. If I was in your boots, I would find it best to keep those horrible thoughts to myself."
