Fair. He has the potential to tan but he lives in space, not getting too much vitamin D out there.

Azure. Alexei was born blind but has cybernetic implants in his eyes that allow him to see.The implant can be seen as a thin electric blue line around his pupils.

He is a good pilot.

Speech- His words are well enunciated. When he has something to say (as in more than just casual chatting with friends) he is very concise and is usually able to get his point across the first time without spending a lot of time explaining. His voice itself is deep and mellow.

Fashion choices- When working on K.VII he doesn't wear his full military uniform unless he is making a direct call to a superior officer. Instead he chooses to wear the casual option they were provided, which is black cargo pants and a grey sweatshirt with a K.VIII patch on it or a plain grey t-shirt. He also sometimes wears the workout clothes around the ship, which is the same color scheme of black sweatpants and a grey, fitted, long sleeved under armor style shirt.

Physical Motivations- he cares about justice. He feels that both sides of are at fault in the war. His father was in politics on Earth, Alexei joined the military because it's what his father wanted.

Deeper personal motivation- (more subconscious) desire for love that is based on who he is, not what he has done.

He also struggles with being mixed species, feeling as though he doesn't fully belong to either.

Low self esteem. He doesn't realize that this is what it is, though. He projects confidence and being comfortable with who he is but on an unconscious level he tries to earn love.

Sketching. He's not particularly great at it (he's not terrible either) but it's something he enjoys doing. He has notebooks filled with sketches he's done of friends, family, animals, and locations, some accurate and some stylized.He feels that drawing can capture more emotion than photographs because it will always reflect what the artist was feeling. It was when he was reviewing some of his drawings that he realized just how much Elliot meant to him.

He was good at football (soccer) in school and still enjoys playing it, but he's never taken it seriously at all.

Not sure if it counts as a possession but his ocular implants are extremely important to him. He is well aware that most people with his condition are not able to receive treatment the way he has and he does not take his vision for granted.

Alexei is pescatarian, as most meats make him feel sick. He loves castelvetrano olives, when he can get them.

Alexei was born on Magnolia station (one of the most advanced medical stations orbiting earth) to an Archylian mother and a human father.

Was trained as a pilot at Eir Base on Mars. Linguistics came very easy to him and he is fluent or near fluent in 6 languages, it is because of his gifting in language that he was assigned to Kepler VIII.

Interspecies pregnancies require a certain amount of genetic recoding to make the human and alien genomes compatible, and even then the risk of complication is high. Alexei's mother died two weeks after his birth because of the toll the pregnancy took on her body. Human babies require more of the mother than achylian babies do. Alexei's father blames himself for her death.
Alexei was born completely healthy except for his eyes. He was born completely blind. As a very young child his father took him to get cybernetic implants in his eyes. He has never really had to live without vision.
