Name Meaning:
Kaiholo is Hawaiian, and it means moving waters. "Kai" means sea and "holo" means running.
He was given this name because he has no home, so he is constantly on the move. He ends up fitting into the name on a deeper level due to his ability to travel through universes.

Usually clean shaven. Often times people question how he keeps such a clean face on his own. He only answers with a sly grin.

Thick and long, down to upper chest, normally down, but if you're lucky you can catch it in a ponytail.

Kaiholo's voice is better described as "slightly higher than one would expect from him", similar to that of Jesse Williams, who speaks in this video.

Kaiholo spends every moment of his life outside, enjoying nature, and prefers to be around bodies of water and waterfalls. He'll smell like the saltwater of the ocean, but sometimes he could smell like petrichor.

Also if spiders have a scent he smells like that too.

Kaiholo quickly figured out that his appearance, being half spider, isn't something people in one universe are willing to accept. Because of this, he developed the ability to mask the spider half, appearing wholly human in front of people that aren't willing to accept his real appearance. Kind of like the Percy Jackson effect, except he controls it. (I'll figure out how he does this later)

Punawalehee is quite a peculiar race, taking on the idea of a centaur, a Punawalehee is half-man, half-spider. Specifically, the Kaua'i Cave Wolf Spider. This species is next to extinct by the time Kaiholo is born, and as he grows older, he loses the last of his family. Not much is known of the Puna's, however many of the Kaua'i Cave Wolf Spider aspects apply to this species.

As soon as his story starts, Kaiholo becomes burdened with the knowledge that he is a character in a book. As he speaks to others in the story, he talks in cryptic sentences, much can be translated when you consider he is not necessarily responding to the other characters in the book, and instead he's speaking to the reader of the book.

Curious and often nosy. He's full of passion and a lust for adventure. Kaiholo doesn't really know who he is, but that's sort of what defines him. Each day is a new him and a new experience. His decisions are even a mystery to him. However, even though Kaiholo seems to be slow and oblivious, he'll let it slip that he knows more than he originally led you to believe. He knows things that others wouldn't even have imagined, and occasionally, he'll pull back the curtain to everyone else. He can be friendly and fun to hang around, but as an introvert, Kaiholo values his alone time, and comes off as shy. He's rarely ready to put himself out there or to be too expressive, for fear of coming off as obscure, unaccepted, and the odd one out.

Kaiholo likes to eavesdrop, and often finds himself being a fly on the wall. Because he can hear so well, he uses this to his advantage and listens in on conversations uninvited; he merely justifies this by saying he's trying to learn more, which is another thing Kaiholo enjoys; Kaiholo is indefinitely curious, and always seeks the true answers. Kaiholo is seen as a philosopher because he questions existence and where man came from.

He's pretty skilled in combat, despite doing everything he can to avoid fights, as a half spider, he has the instinct to hunt for game. His sense of hearing is better than anyone else's, he can run pretty fast, and he likes to sew and crochet (despite being blind, he can recognize patterns.)

Sometimes Kaiholo views himself as better than everyone else because he thinks he knows everything. In reality, he only knows one thing everyone else doesn't know, but everyone would merely view him as pessimistic.

Isn't very street-smart and doesn't understand modern slang. Sarcasm and dry humor goes over his head. Kaiholo is one of those personalities where he has a lot on his mind, but rarely speaks. When he does, he prefers to speak in vague terms. This can actually get annoying because he never explains what he means. Kaiholo is non-confrontational and might often blame himself when he's not at fault, because he believes since he is the only one closest to free will, he's at fault for many things. While Kaiholo thinks through his actions, he takes it a step further by overthinking everything. He can be indecisive and thinks not only twice, but several times over everything.

Kaiholo has been "gifted" with the awareness that he is merely a character. Because of this, he seeks a way into freedom; Kaiholo wants to write his own story, or at the very least, live without being told what to do. When he's in deep thought, Kaiholo will hold his hand up at his mouth and nose

Tends to twiddle his thumbs, scratches at his hair when he's nervous, and grows completely still if he hears an unidentifiable sound. Kaiholo gesticulates often when he's talking, and he might even have a tendency to talk out loud to himself.

Chaotic Neutral. Kaiholo strives for freedom and will stop at nothing to obtain it.

He's blind, but he likes the way his old friend describes oranges and reds.

Kaiholo makes no implication to any sexuality.

Kaiholo does not live in a house and finds his own food. He has never seen the need for a job and doesn't pay taxes when he's in one of the universes.

Kaiholo questions everything relating to religion, but since he knows he is only a character, he ponders that whoever is writing about him is the god of his world; though Kaiholo might have a tendency to grow mad at the author for creating him and giving him the awareness.

Kaiholo does not partake in political parties. It doesn't matter to him.

Kaiholo doesn't have a place to live but he finds stuff to eat in the other universe

During his quest, Kaiholo learns the ability to use his fictional existence to his advantage. Though he doesn't have complete control, he manages to manifest certain things out of seemingly nothing to get out of sticky situations. This requires his creativity, so he's developed quick thinking.

Kaiholo suffered an injury causing him to lose a significant amount of his memory. After realizing his ability to travel between two universes, he is faced with a fatal question; which Universe is he from? At first, he thought he was from the Earth Universe, in which he was born in Hawaii. After realizing that earth does not have such creatures like him, he begins to wonder if he's from the universe with mythical creatures. It's a struggle for him as a wandering puzzle piece when he doesn't even know which puzzle he belongs to. Kaiholo experiences a few arcs; after much searching, Kaiholo realizes that he isn't supposed to belong to any one universe; he was created to fit in both. afterward, he focuses on achieving free will

"You seem to be quite aware of your surroundings," She said, studying his every move. "despite being blind." Kaiholo chuckles. He pauses his task and slowly turns to face her.
"I'm not blind. Blind suggests I was supposed to see. I'm not going to let anyone think they took sight away from me."
She's quiet. Kaiholo can feel her curiosity growing as she spills the next question.
"Who would have taken sight away from you?" Kaiholo sighs.
"It's obvious. Someone who doesn't want me to see."
"Who wouldn't want you to see?" She sounds persistent, the curiosity eating her away.
"Someone who has something to hide." She huffs a sigh at him.
"For Christ's sake, Kaiholo. Who?"
"I don't know, I can't see."

Kaiholo drags around a natural green-ish brown shirt, but that's his only article of clothing, other than the worn-out handkerchief he uses to cover his face.

Kaiholo was not educated, but, being heavily observant and a good listener, Kaiholo learned many things. There is no way to identify how much he knows; it's all different.
