Rai is highly enthusiastic and bubbly - and this shows in how she moves. She's constantly fidgeting or tapping at something. Rai cannot stand still, so if you were to wait in line with her or merely talk to her, she will be pacing around or shifting from foot to foot. She also loves dancing, you won't catch Rai ignoring music.

Flashbacks from the experiments scar her, which lead to Rai being very passive, yet caring. She does not want people to go through life as rough and lonely as she did, so she enjoys helping others emotionally. Although, she has very strong morals and is not afraid to push some of them onto her friends.
Rai spends most of her time exploring the city and other countries, trying to gain back all the years she lost. She's very adventurous and tries to live in the moment.

Despite her extrovert attitude, Rai despises talking about her personal life. She's almost too private, making it difficult for people to get to know her. Rai is overly determined and focused on what she does, which can become a flaw as she won't stop until she gets it done. She's a "I have to do this" type of person. Rai's adventurous side mixed in with her determination makes her extremely risky.

Rai has the most chaotic energy out of the four. She's wild, carefree, and has a heart for adventure. At first sight, you'd think she's a crazy optimist, like the sun, but Rai is much more like the moon. She lights up what's dark without sugarcoating, and believes in the power of the soul and the past (meaning, you control your life and your past is important). Rai is more positive than anything, but she is a strange mix of both realist and dreamer.

Rai is extremely against old adults (35+). She sees them as corrupt and abusive. She also dislikes technology, because she believes it is ruining the natural human connection (she makes exceptions for useful tools like the fridge). Despite her hatred for technology, she has grown a fascination for video games. However, she is not addicted to them and only chooses to play them with others.

Has incredible balance and is able to climb buildings. Rai's electric ability allows her to power things, and can also beautify a city. By touching power lines, she can change the yellow/white lights of a city and turn them into neon colors.

Vultures - she always thought birds were rather interesting after reading a book about Mayans during the experiment. She learned that vultures were seen as symbols of renewal. Inazuma always had the hope that her life would change, and that the scientists would let her go, so vultures represented that for her. Ironically, the day before the brain washing, Inazuma spotted a vulture outside her window.

January 4

On the day of Inazuma's birth, her mom had died. Her father, ridden with fear of not being able to care for the baby, abandoned Inazuma at the hospital. Due to the civil war and the broken laws, a group of government scientists decided to take advantage and use Inazuma as a human experiment, seeing as absent parents supposedly meant no consent was needed. No further research into extended family was made, so Inazuma became a test subject for superpowers. The scientists had a goal of alternating DNA to create an all powerful superhuman. Throughout the 14 years, Inazuma grew up in the same room inside the lab building with an assigned caretaker. Occasionally, she would sneak out, however a tracker embedded in her ankle forbid her from going any farther than the roof. The experiment did not go exactly as planned, as they could not give her more powers than controlling energy, so the scientists erased Rai's memories and let her into the streets. They did not take her powers away, for they had no ability to. She awakes in an alley, knowing nothing - not even her own name. A tag on her shirt reading "Ninjen no Jikken Inazuma" was her only indication of her past, which she now uses as her name, however friends call her Rai, which is short for the other japanese word for lightning. The mind-erasing did not work perfectly either, so Rai periodically gets flashbacks or dreams of the experiment. She eventually recalls most everything.
After, Rai stays homeless for awhile, until she finds her caretaker again. Her caretaker provides Rai a home and food, and allows her to live her life. Rai is homeschooled, which allows her to experience more things without having the stress of public school. In the last five years, she has been doing everything she can to take back the years she lost due to the scientists. She quickly discovers how to control her powers and uses them for fun and sometimes when the power goes out.
