Her family. She is a warrior and a protector. She wants to protect her family and her loved ones. She is also motivated by what she thinks is the kind thing to do. If there's a way to help someone, she's going to help them.

She often gets very frustrated. She can be too curious and distrustful.

She does not trust people as easily as others might. She doesn't like people who are mean or rude for no reason.

Knows martial arts because she loved Power Rangers as a kid. Also really good at sports.

"Do no harm, but take no shit." She is kind and loving and compassionate. She would never wish harm on anyone unless they had tried to previously hurt her. She is strong and confident but not ashamed to be emotional or afraid.

She covers her mouth/face when she laughs. Likes to lean against things when she's standing and likes to sit on places where people usually don't sit, i.e. counter tops, hoods of cars, table tops, etc. Usually puts her hands on her hips or crosses her arms when she is standing. When she's nervous or afraid, she's really good at not showing it, but will twist her hair if she can. When she's angry, she gets angry. She really wants to punch stuff when she gets angry but she tries really hard not to. When she gets sad, she shuts herself off from other people. Since she's usually very open and happy and extroverted, it's easy to tell when she is sad.

Ashanti lives with her mother, Tasha, and her brother, Joseph, in San Francisco, California. Her parents are divorced but she still sees her father almost every week. She was born with her powers, like most everyone in this story. Grew up in a very diverse community.
