In her early years, she was very quiet and reserved, very polite and proper. Once she moved in with John she became more confident and brazen, and very defiant. When she's nervous she picks at her fingers, same when she's bored. When she's angry she scratches or picks at whatever's closest to her, usually resulting in broken fingernails. When she's trying to lie, she ends up looking at the ceiling quite a bit. As she gets older she gets better at lying.

Making John proud, before that it was making sure her parents weren't mad at her, bc when they weren't mad at her they left her alone.

She's too sure of herself age 9 and up, she can't hold her tongue

Hates rich people, hates racist people (she's friends with many of the black boys and girls around here, they're outcasts like her), and hates teachers
