He grew up in a Christian home, and has been homeschooled until he was 7.He enjoyed being homeschooled, but now has to experience the "agony" of a public school. He met Annika when he was 5, in his daycare, and then they reunited as best friends in the 2nd grade. Abram used to be an only child, and when Otis turned about 7, Abram noticed that Otis wouldn't fight back, and so Otis always has some sort of scrape. His two month old sister died when he was at camp one summer.
