Nyx is the oldest of three children, and his father is a scientist, his mother an artist. He had a normal, decently happy childhood. When he was 16, he was in a horrible accident, that resulted with him in a coma, near death, with his skull in three pieces and most of his limbs barely connected or not connected at all to his body. His parents were told the only way to save him was experimental treatment that would turn him into a cyborg. However, they were also warned that the process could kill him, and even if he survived, it had driven some others insane to have the cybernetic limbs interacting with their minds the way they did. His parents, desperate to save him, agreed, and for the next two months, Nyx was kept in the coma as doctors, scientists, and inventors worked to create limbs and a mind-piece, then fuse it with his body. The limbs are not removable. Now, Nyx has to run a debug and defrag program on the limbs every morning, to ensure they function properly, and has doctors' visits every three months. He knows better than to try to hack his limbs, though he knows he could. The legs enable him to run faster than anyone else, and the arm is very strong.
