Moker was born on a small farm in the middle of the forest, to a poor family. He grew up learning the value of money, and that those who had it had the power to do what they wished. He also learned that those who had the ability to threaten and bully often got what they wanted. When he was 17, his father was killed, and Moker, as the oldest of five children, was left to care for his family. However, the farm was sold to take care of his fathers' debts, and Moker, not knowing what to do, turned to thievery and waylaying travelers for money.He is now the leader of a small band that has made their home in the forest, and brings money to his mother and siblings once every two weeks.

Only had education up to about 6th grade, then dropped out. He can read and write, though not well, and can do most simple figures/sums.
