Protagonist

Waist length and perfectly straight. She keeps it in a half-bun while she works.

She has black roots, which bleed into dark purple colors about halfway down the length of her hair.

Her uniquely-colored hair and whisp-like wings (most SoulEaters' wings are solid, feathery, and detailed right to the feather's down. Ev's wings, however, do not have feathers or a frame, but look more like smoke. They have the same bird-wing structure, but are not solid.)

She has a more or less pear-shaped body (though one could argue her shape is more rectangular). She is fairly athletic-looking from working in the mines for so long.

She hates the Supremes, those who rule the land, for outcasting her clan simply because of their abilities.

She occasionally blinks hard and intensely, usually during a conversation, giving the illusion that she has trouble concentrating or staying awake. She tends to speak very defiantly, depending on whether or not she is talking to a being of higher rank, which can anger or annoy another colleague.

Freedom and equality for her people. (However, her selfless-seeming motivations are really her manipulating her selfish desires to be free into a saint-like idea)

She is reckless--though for some miraculous reason, she has never ended up in a bad situation (However, her luck will eventually run out)--and tends to forget the needs of others, as she has only taken care of herself for three whole years. She is not very aware of her friend's emotional states, thud not quite recognizing when they are depressed or angry.

Archery, flying, dark magic

Archery, arial combat, which she has been practicing since she was five or six years old.

She is introverted, but not very peace-loving, willing to reach great lengths to find equality for her people. She is loyal, and would like to come across as humble, but it is clear that she is not. She is not afraid to try something new and dangerous, but subconsciously understands her limits. Her time in slavery changed her. Before selling herself, she was a quiet, selfless girl with a deep love for family. However, after witnessing firsthand the ruthlessness of the Outlanders who enslaved her, she turned into something different: selfish and destructive. She dismisses the opinions of others, and would much rather her peers see her as a leader and follow her blindly rather than sit around and quarrel about what decisions need to be made (She will eventually realize that she does not want equality for her people, but rather for herself). She forgets to think about all the possible dangers before she acts (she will find time to think afterwards). She has somehow convinced herself that whoever disagrees with her is not on her side (which could cause a problem if her brother did not like her plans), which results in her having no remorse or control over what she says or how she acts.

Her tribe is outcasted by the Supremes because their Dead Magic scared them. Everrose sold herself into slavery so her parents could take better care of her little brothers, Aspender and Carpen and unborn baby Clara-Sage. She was a slave to the Outlanders at the age of 15, working to find Evenlee’s Ring in the mountains around the Outlander's border, where said Ring is believed to be hidden. The SoulEaters were chosen to work there because they were the only clan who could see well in the dark, and find what the Supremes have desired. She used her 3 years in slavery to figure out a plan of escape (though when the time came, she ended up improvising).

A Wolvic she named Neyrok (Though it is never a good idea to treat a Wolvic like a pet; they might kill you.)

• SoulEaters are the "loners" of Evenlee, being mostly introverted or selfish. They wield Dead Magic and have the ability to create wings on their backs, possess dead bodies, hear and see extremely well (like an owl), to open rifts in the earth to the "ghost dimension" and call upon spirts to help them, and to "borrow" (suck out) another life force, usually from plants.


• The world of Evenlee was named after the goddess Evenlee, who created it.
  -Wolvics are giant wolf creatures that are about twice the size of a normal wolf, have teeth as tough as steel, and an unbearably haughty personality. They have similar abilities to a SoulEater (They can posses dead ghosts, travel at extreme speeds, and though they can't suck out a life force, they can take a large amount of a life force and use it for their own power. That is why they are so dangerous and never tore offended.)


• Supremes are a mostly TBD organization, since I have not focused much on them yet. As far as I have decided, most are Sorcerers (mundane people with the ability to suck out other's power) with thousands of followers of different species.


• More on Everrose's nature: Although rare, she can be at odds with herself, deciding where her loyalties lie: she desperately wants to regain her old lifestyle, but times as a slave have changed her. Overtime, she will come to realize that it was still out of selfishness that she left her family (reasons for that are a WIP)
