Her hair falls to her back and when left undone is slightly wavy and unnaturally shiny (she uses a very expensive shampoo) as well as parted to the left side of her head. It is often done up in elaborate, almost Georgian hairdos.

An extremely skilled liar and manipulator, she makes the world think she is just a puppet ruler when really it's her pulling the strings from the shadows, she likes the privacy it gives her. She is very perceptive and observant and has an uncanny ability to assess a situation and come up with a solution, all while maintaining her pretty smile. She is a skilled diplomat who is pragmatic enough to overlook any morals to do what's necessary for her country and clever enough to make it look like never did anything. The darker side of politics isn't good for PR. Apparently she throws quite the party.

Has questionable morals, her desire to do what's necessary takes precedence over doing what's right. She is quite emotionally manipulative and an exceptional liar, maintaining an innocent and ditzy facade while the cogs in her brain tick on. For someone who appears very innocent and naive she is actually quite ruthless and cold hearted when it comes to politics. She isn't above blackmail, espionage, assassination or backstabbing to keep her country in peace.

Has a disdain for the men of her court who often patronise her which she has to take on the chin most of the time and doesn't respect those without any values (for example those who manipulate and blackmail simply for power, she does those things to keep her country safe and to keep herself on top where she knows she can make the best decisions not for power.)

Drinks tea (often with some hidden whiskey) with her ladies in waiting often just to gossip to relieve the stress of ruling, she throws parties mostly just to keep up appearances with her ditzy facade, she has a guilty pleasure for ratchety reality shows.

Her father ruled the kingdom for decades and was highly respected for ushering in an era of peace and when he died she was given the mantle. She was prepared for the politics of court by her father and she employed her innocent mask as a way of finding things out and taking advantage of how people underestimate her. At the start of the story she has just been coronated and everyone expects her to throw parties and look pretty, someone as ditzy as Imelda could never live up to her fathers legacy. That's at least what they think and Imelda would like to keep it that way. She is even cleverer and shrewder than her father but what good is all that if people expect it of you. She'd rather people underestimated her and were surprised instead of knowing what she was capable. She payed little attention to the new superpower program and instead gave reigns to the government in that regard but once they become legalised bounty hunters for hire and use by the government she finds out how useful they can be.
