Lucinda Ivanov is the older twin between her and her brother by half an hour. She and her brother were left behind in there parents' car during the attacks(they were only a few hours old) and found an Hour later by government officials. She was taken to an all-girls orphanage while her brother was taken to the all-boys counterpart. Despite not being able to see her brother as they got older(about 4 or 5) they began communicating with a series of symbols sent back and forth on letters using the clotheslines. When she has turned ten, an older woman (in her late 60s) came to adopt her but before she left she helped her brother escape and took him with her. When they turned 13 the woman died of heart failure and they had to either go back to the orphanage or live on the streets. They decided to live on the road in fear of being separated again. A month before their 14th birthday they ended up in a dense forest next to off of Country Rd. They heard rumors of a group of people that lived in there and had made it their goal to find them. After three days, they found a trail that led to the civilization, once they reached it they were found by the Fava family who took them in. She met many of the other people who have lived here all there life. But even now their world is ever changing.
