One of Maxwell's flaws is that he always has to be right. He is also very argumentative and is a perfectionist.

Typically pretty healthy

Typically, Maxwell is observant, though he can be a little scatter-brained at times. He is fairly good and honourable. Being a Ravenclaw, he is also very knowledgeable and can rattle off random facts at any given time.

In his spare him, Maxwell solves logic problems, puzzles, and riddles, occasionally with his wife and daughter. He also enjoys reading his old textbooks and newspapers.

Maxwell has always had an ineptitude for logic and maths. Because of this, he was always very good at Potions and Arithmancy.

Like most people not from Slytherin, Maxwell has had a prejudice against them. This is because his future wife had a few bad experiences while at school. He became even more prejudiced when his nephew was bullied.

Maxwell would do anything for his family, especially his wife and daughter. He also hates being wrong and has to always be right.

Often when listening to someone, Maxwell's mind wanders and makes up mathematical problems in his head to solve. He also taps his fingers incessantly.

Seven years at Hogwarts

Maxwell was born into a pureblood family and he continued the generations of Ravenclaws in the family. He met his eventual wife at Hogwarts and proposed two years after leaving. They were married just after he started Auror school. His daughter was born a few years later. Max decided, in his daughter's fourth year, to retire from the Auror business so that there was more of a chance of his daughter growing up with a father. He is killed in the Battle of Hogwarts.
