Lived normally until his powers manifested. His parents didn’t even know anything had changed; they just thought they were just getting more and more tired. It wasn’t until he was at school one day, and one of his classmate’s powers had manifested a few weeks before and they had enough control to go back to school. He was hanging out around them, doing nothing in particular. Then the kid collapsed. No one understood what happened until it happened again with the next kid. His parents deduced that he must have manifested a power to take the energy or powers of others. And seemingly permanently because the kids didn’t show any signs of regaining their powers. When the FCA learned of him, they took him from his parents and began to re-shape him to be used to become an unstoppable weapon so that the country could take control of the whole world.
