Amelia was raised by grandparents from ages 1-3, then these badass medieval guys came and destroyed... most of Earth an overruledit with their badassitude and mythological creatures and whatnot. Amelia left the house, escaped the medieval guys, and found refuge with an electric wyvern whom calls himself Caldrum. From ages 4-7, Amelia and Caldrum explores the forests untouched by the medieval guys, finds food, Caldrum teaches Amelia, and they... explore. Once the medieval threat grows, Caldrum trains Amelia in combat, and these Soren start showing up once Amelia is, what, 8? Amelia gets herself a windspren, whom calls herself Brictric, and they start hanging out and all that good stuff. The three of them continue exploring the forest, refusing to challenge the knights until Amelia is ready, and at age 12, Amelia finds a mace. This mace calls himself Sharur. He called himself that. Sharur is a mace, and he can talk. Anyway, Amelia, Sharur, Brictric, and Caldrum explore the woods and helps Amelia train. When she is 15, the medieval guys find them, and that is when she finally begins fighting against the knights.
The story starts when she is 17, and she is looking for another month’s worth of food.
On that same day, a very, very, VERY bad person also drops by with a monster of his own.
