Memphis deals with trauma by distancing himself emotionally from whatever the incident is. This includes refusal to talk about it, removing any reminders of it, etc.

He becomes extremely forgetful and confused

Memphis has a habit of rubbing his left jaw as a result of his mother slapping him there one time when she had been upset (not even at him) when he was very young. Ever since then, he often rubs that spot when he's feeling upset, threatened, or very emotional.

Cold and pessimistic, though that's not to say that he's not ever passionate or excited about anything. In fact, he's extremely determined and always diligent when working towards a goal. He hides his emotions the best he can and doesn't trust easily. He can be manipulative and puts himself first. (a.k.a Commander ENTJ-A / ENTJ-T personality)

As a result of never being shown much--if any--love as a child, he has none to show others and has a distance from his emotions. This results in little patience towards people, especially emotion-guided people. He is terrible at "being there" for people and can be straight-up rude.
His drive and determination result in cold and ruthless behavior towards others--nothing matters as long as he gets what he wants. Memphis is stubborn and always expects nothing but the best from the people around him.

Memphis is self-confident and strong-willed, with an aura of authority that draws others to him. He has a constant drive to do better and is extremely efficient. Distance from his emotions allows him to think logically and evaluate every situation carefully and thoroughly before making a decision.
Due to his way with words, Memphis is able to get almost anyone, even people who don't like him, to do what he wants. And his careful observation of those around him makes him an excellent judge of character. It's easy for him to then discover their strengths and weakness and use that to his advantage.

Graduated high school, currently in college for a business degree

Memphis' parents never showed him much love, as his father was very focused on his business, and his mother, her career. They both fought a lot, too, even sometimes going as far as taking out their frustration on their son (never any physical abuse, just lots of yelling.) Memphis did his best to keep them happy simply for his younger brother's sake.

He has few close friends, but the few he has, he opens up to. It takes a lot to earn his respect and trust, but it is well worth the effort (but is it, tho?)

Titus reacts almost all of the time, but Memphis is just the opposite. Like Sebastian, he prefers to analyze and scheme when there is time, taking action when necessary.
When he removes an enemy, he doesn't go half-way. He's known for his ruthless, destructive sweeps through the city.

He treats them with respect but shows little interest in them. Any interest he does show in somebody is most likely a well-thought-out move on his part.

Memphis is very distant from his parents. He calls occasionally and takes time out of his extremely busy schedule to visit and eat dinner with them, but it's mainly for Titus' sake.

Always wears two, gunmetal grey rings, one engraved with Young-mi's name and the other with Titus'.

For his work on the streets, he wears sleeveless clothing in the warmer weather. In cold or rainy weather, he wears leather jackets or hoodies. Other parts of his outfit include combat boots, fingerless gloves, and his chain.

Red or white suits with a black or white dress shirt with a skinny tie (or no tie at all) with a black rose in the lapel. This is paired with a gold or silver watch and always his chain.
