Nature

Magical Habilities

ark Magic is a complex thing. On the one hand, it is used to describe the techniques of those not formally schooled as a Magister with the techniques taught by the Colleges. Yet, the magic of the Wood Elves, High Elves, and even the Vampires certainly don’t follow the teachings of the Orders of Magic, but, they are not Dark Magic either. In this sense, Dark Magic implies the reckless use of magic employed by Witches and Warlocks, those individuals who are self-taught in their arts.
But Dark Magic is far more than simple Dark Arcana. It also encompasses that which is employed by the Necromancers, the process of using the Energy of the Void to create and control the spirits of the dead. It is also the foul magic used by the Dark Elves to use their terrible magic, and it is especially refers to the magic used by practitioners of Chaos Magic who serve the Ruinous Powers.

Notes

Notes

Drow, also known as dark elves, deep elves, night elves,or sometimes "The Ones Who Went Below" on the surface, were a dark-skinned sub-race of elves that predominantly lived in the Underdark, being ruled over by Catherine Bayley..They were hated and feared due to their cruelty, though some non-evil, or even good, drow existed.

Drow, by reputation, were almost entirely evil.
Drow were arrogant, ambitious, sadistic, treacherous, and hedonistic. From birth, the drow were taught they were superior to other races, and that they should crush those beneath them.

The evil of the drow wasn't of inherent nature:influenced and indoctrinated by Catherine, they would turn their culture and society into what it became, leading to a race of emotionally stunted people, with a tenuous grasp on sanity and scarred mentalities, among which relatively undamaged minds were considered abnormal. However, the drow had no innate drive towards evil and their morality was colored by the society they lived in.

Goals
Most drow's personal goal was about increasing their position in life,as they desired the power on others that a higher position would provide. The scarcity of resources in the Underdark and the limited chances for advancement within the society forced most drow to aggressively compete with each other. However, they managed to hide their traits behind of veneer of sophistication. For example, while they liked to assassinate their competiton, doing so and being exposed would bring punishment for being too overt about it, as would open murder.

Rising through the ranks too quickly was dangerous for any drow. The usual reaction was the formation of temporary alliances among those who were wronged by the quickly ascending drow to take the latter down. Such alliances were often successful.

History
According to the drow and elves of the Surface, the first connection between Catherine and the drow started with Asriel naming Catherine, her sister, keeper of the dark elves. However, unsatisfied with her position, counting on the help of her son, Vhaer, and devising a plan to frame her daughter, Elisa ,for her actions, Catherine would attempt to overthrow Asriel, starting what was known as the War of the Elvian Kind.
The conflict ended with Catherine being banished into the Abyss: from there, it would take her millennia in order to regain influence on the dark elves, which were turning into Moon Elves, blessed by Asriel. However, the most threatning of the Dark Elf kind were banished with Catherine, letting her build her own empire.Vhae was exiled from Avandor, and he would deeply shape the future of the dark elves,as he despised the Moon Gods of Andromeda, whose killed his father. while Elisa chose exile to bring her light to them in the time of need. You have the following traits, in addition to the base racial traits of the elf.

As an Dark Elf,you have the following traits:
Ability Score Increase. Your choice of your Intelligence or Charisma score increases by 1.

Superior Darkvision. Your darkvision has a range of 120 feet.

Sunlight Sensitivity. You have disadvantage on attack rolls and Wisdom (Perception) checks when you, the target of your attack, or whatever you are trying to perceive is in direct sunlight.

Dark Elf Weapon Training. You are proficient with the rapier, shortsword, scimitar, and hand crossbow.

Extra Language. You can speak, read, and write Undercommon.

Variant - Sun-Acclimated
Some dark elves have spent enough time on the surface that they have become accustomed to the sunlight, at the cost of their enhanced vision in dark and dim conditions. If you wish to play such a dark elf, you lose the Superior Darkvision and Sunlight Sensitivity traits of the standard dark elf subrace above, and gain the spell "Moon Bolt" ( https://dnd.arkalseif.info/dndtools/spells/spell-compendium--86/moon-bolt--4576/ ) and +1 on Wisdom, along with the other Dark Elf attributes.
