Colonel Verone Carabali, better referred as just Carabali, is the first super soldier the Alliance has made. She quite heavily cares about her men and others on Dauntless despite the loss rates that were quite high before Geary appeared and took over command of the Fleet of thirty three Battleships, thirty Battle cruisers, thirty heavy cruisers, fifty two light cruisers and one hundred and fifty destroyers.

With a feat of coming back with so many ships, alive, while being the Alliance’s hero, Carabali has held the commander in very high regard and would do everything within her power to make sure he is safe and secure, no matter what happened.
The Colonel had no recollection whatsoever of a childhood. No memory of her mother, only the cold corners of a ‘cell’ that was her home.

She escaped after a power failure when she was at least ten and had ran away. Fortunately, with her super speed and the sort, she was all too quick to get away. It did cost her the same amount of energy that running normally would, so she collapsed in an alleyway to recuperate.

Afterwards, she spent the next few years learning the techniques of surviving the streets, being careful of the poor people of Unity and the gangs that have been made for the poorer levels, shoddy buildings with broken windows and even more broken walls. She had been a worried ten-year-old child, a kid in a world she did not entirely understand and therefore had no idea why or how she was different.

For the first few months of the first year in the poorer levels, she did not hesitate to show off how different she was as she had not realized that it was a bad thing at all. After having been chased three times by scientists after almost every time she had showed them off, she finally learned that she needed to keep them secret.

For the next five years after that she was impossible to track, there one second and gone the next into the varying amounts of alleyways upon Unity.

She spent the next eight years after that learning the streets of Unity before going into the Marine training upon Unity.

After that, she became a ruthless killer and was quick to rise through the ranks while keeping her powers secret, only ever getting to show them off to no one but Nasr, the ‘personal’ head medic aboard Dauntless.

She is ever loyal to Captain Geary and she would do anything and everything for him, even if it’s to exchange her own life for his.

However, even before she came under his command, she was a ruthless killer and formidable foe. Whenever triggered to fight in such a way, she does so with barely a hesitation and a grim, satisfied smile on her face and after the battle was finished, she would be muttering a dark laugh on top of the bodies she has killed, victorious for another day.

Afterwards she will regret what she has done, it has been an endless loop for her. To lose control and then afterwards regret what she has murdered to protect her fellow squad mates.

When she got to be under Geary’s command, she took heavy notes from him and adapted to how he commanded and adapted her own techniques of command to suit it. She has been trying her best to live better and therefore not be forced to lose her sanity in the way of smokes and otherwise getting out all other rage via going all out on training dummies that she had personally modified carefully to suit her needs. She has done this within the dead of night and hardly, if ever, shown what she can do in public out of combat.

She has, otherwise, been slowly improving with the help of Nasr and the slowly getting better medicines he has been developing. These medicines were provided and were going to be used to therefore help Carabali and the insanity-induced super soldier abilities she has gained. If she is not treated, Nasr had guessed that she would lose her mind entirely and believe the men of Dauntless were the enemy as well. By doing his best to make these medicines for Carabali specifically, he tries to subdue her ‘feral’ side.
