Morte would do just about anything his mother said. The woman was a figure who stuck with him through everything. She’s the only person that Morte is aware of that can read him like an open book.

The past spurs Morte to try his hardest to become a better man than his father. While he still has an unhealthy issue to address with himself, Morte works hard and honestly to assure that being named after his father doesn’t allow him to be dragged down.

He absolutely hates previous his name. He wouldn’t have minded it if his father wasn’t such an absolute trash bag.

He’ll tend to blame himself for not being good enough. It’s not as deep as Xander's self-deprecation, however.

He tends to become paranoid with either their safety or their loyalty to him. This stems from his fear of losing them, seeing as he lost an important figure in his life during his youth .

Without a doubt, Morte absolutely hates his father. He only goes to see him in order to visit his younger half sister, Amelie.

Morte's personality is based off of a tough outdoorsman who's actions speak louder than his words. Despite being quiet and aloof, he can be polite but it often clashes with his intimidating intimidating appearance. He's the cool silent type at first glance when in reality he's just awkward around people.

Morte’s successfully completed elementary and Highschool with flying colors. It took effort but he’s now attending community college.
He’s thinking about transferring to a university to study mechanical engineering.

Morte was born into a rather strained family. His mother, though absent for a majority of the day, had always made Morte happy. She always seemed tired, but never failed to support and care for Morte in every way that she could. Morte's father wasn't someone he wanted to associate himself with. Morte had only recognized that he had been causing his mother distress and pain with his anger issues and his gambling and alcoholic problems. Growing up was difficult for him, given that his family life was so unfavorable. Morte actually grew up to know how to dodge his father’s anger and basically survived the day but he was still watching Vernita get treated poorly.

When Morte was thirteen , he joined this little local gang and met some of his closest friends there. This continued until he was like seventeen. A gang shooting incident had caused him and the few remaining friends he did have to ultimately disband the group. The boys made a promise to keep living for each others’ sake and hopefully meet up with each other again, no matter where they were.

The night after the incident was the time when Morte and his mother had left Henrique. That night was bad since Morte walked in on Vernita and Henrique fighting. The fight had stemmed from Henrique forcing himself upon Vernita after she had finally said no to him instead of just complying with it. Morte felt something snap inside of him and he intervened quickly.
Morte had gotten into a fist fight with his father, eventually having to be pulled off by Vernita. After leaving his mother outside, Morte took some basic necessities, a few sentimental items and left with his mother to go to a shelter far away .

It was just him and his mother from then on. The two had it rough, but they went through everything together.

He shares several pets with his girlfriend, Aya.
These include axolotls named Nugget and Squishy.

Before his name change, he was named after his dad, making him Henrique Adams Jr.

His favorite time of day is dusk.

Morte has a fondness for baby animals, though he always gets overwhelmed when a group of them take interest in him.
