Grew up in a big country house with his older sister Caroline, twin sister Wren, mother Elizabeth and dad Julian Foster until his dad was killed in the army when he was 5. The family then moved to a smaller apartment in south-west London. When he was 13, his mother Elizabeth got remarried to Adam Montgomery, who had two kids, Adira (11) and Jess (14).
