She's exceptionally talented at calming down any and all kinds of dragons. She can speak in the ancient dragon tongue, long since lost to humans.

Having grown up on a small island where she knew everyone, she is a terrible judge of character and trusts the wrong people too easily.

After the earth's crust was shattered by pre-historic scientists, creating numerous levitating islands suspended over an ocean planet below, Cara is born on the Dragon island, Argos. Raised as a farmer, she is used to hard work. Raised on an island heavily populated by dragons, she has a way with them, able to communicate and befriend any dragon she meets, allowing her people to safely co-habitate with them.

Out and about the fields, checking on her dragon friends and caring for them, she is almost run over by an enormous black dragon, Ragnarok, who heard the call of the Dragon Rider. He informs her of her destiny, and takes her off to train her to be the sacred warrior to defeat the Vile Lord, ruler of the islands and their peoples, who is abusing his power and looking to enslave all (?? I'm honestly still fleshing it out)

No formal education other than reading and writing.

She has the ability to speak to any dragon she meets in the ancient tongue, and has an uncanny way with the sword. She has enhanced physical abilities, allowing her to run faster, hit harder, jump higher, and heal more quickly than a normal human.
