Aizik is shown to be a quiet and introverted individual. He may seem more serious than he is, when in reality he is just quiet and aloof. He tends to disappear around new faces but with people who are already familiar to him, he can play the "listening bartender" role better. He is more keen to giving suggestions than sympathy, but he may show kindness by making up a drink for others without being asked.

He is co-workers with Gavin, another undead fellow who works as a busboy. They're not really friends but they're not unfriendly towards each other either. Sometimes they chill together, usually on smoke breaks.

Aizik lived some point either in the late 1800s or the early 1900s. He most likely belonged to a lower middle or middle family. He was born without eyes, a rare condition known as anophthalmia. Despite this deformity, he was still treated normally by the family, was given an education, and even had a job.

He most likely died due to a physical illness like pneumonia. His corpse came into the possession of Medimortimers attempting to revive people through magical means than scientific ones and in turn, he was brought back to "halfway" state--neither alive nor dead. This same magic caused Aizik to see despite having no eyes and being unable to beforehand.

In life, Aizik knew braille and retains how to use it although bares no knowledge of the fact he does. Gavin taught him how to read and write, though he isn't very good at it. "Aizik" is how he writes his name.

Unfortunately, Aizik does not remember what his life was like or who he even was before he died. The only thing he recalled was his name.

So Aizik is a victim of Medimortimers, meaning he had died but was unnaturally brought back by science-mixed magic. He was then dumped somewhere, only ever meant as an experiment and was never explained to about anything.

Another thing is, Aizik doesn't remember what he was like before in life. He doesn't remember anything about his life either, or if the name "Aizik" is even his. He has remarked he feels like he is in some kind of haze between not knowing himself and not knowing what to do with himself.

The truth is, he wants to find the people who did this to him and if possible, find out who he was. He's just afraid he won't like the answer.
