Elf
Danzi has many track marks from injecting vampire blood into himself. He is also gaining mutations because of this, his mouth has the starting of vampire like fangs growing on top of his regular incisors.
Nature
Danzi is addicted to vampire blood. For his kind it's like a drug that makes them feel powerful. He is almost dependant on the blood now, and doesn't go anywhere without a bottle or a few syringes full of the blood. He has a rather sick means of getting it, which requires him to capture, chain up and bleed his vampiric victims until they either wither away or die. He prefers purebloods over fledglings.
Danzi is an excellent druid and poison maker. He is able to hear plantlife speaking to him and uses this ability to create powerful poisons from the ingredients the plants tell him to use. He is also able to heal and help plants grow by touching them. However, this does not mean he can make a tiny sapling into a hundred year old tree overnight.
History
I was once part of a powerful clan called Cyelenora. I wasn’t born to royalty, in fact my family wasn’t high on the latter at all, it was only by chance that I was chosen to be an apprentice with the healer Farideh. In working with her, I realized that I was the first in my family to have Druid abilities. It was amazing, being able to feel the life around me in the flora. I knew the plants’ names, and what they held in them simply by touching them. I didn’t even know how to make potions, and yet their ingredients were being spelled out to me as if I had someone whispering them into my ears. I was just a kid back then, I didn’t know of these abilities, and my parents thought there was something wrong with me when I attempted to tell them about what I had been hearing. It was Farideh who explained to me my abilities, and since then she took me in. I was in my late teens when I finally started to train with potions, helping her make healing remedies and tonics that were needed for sicknesses. I even helped her make stronger brews as I knew the elements she was missing from her potions. I quickly grew, as did my abilities. I learned that just by touch I could make a wilted flower green again, and help it to heal. Not only that, but I was able to help these plants grow just with touch. I was allowed to help in the greenhouse where all of the flora were kept, and within a few months it was flourishing as it never had in the past. Needless to say, the collection of plant life had gone from a small garden to a jungle. Farideh encouraged my Druid blood to grow and become stronger.
Once anointed the official keeper of the greenhouse, and potion apprentice, I started to spend most of my days with Farideh. Learning everything I needed to know about creating the healing tonics like she did. Though I wasn’t expecting someone else to be there as well. I looked after the plants at night when I was on my way home, and one night I caught one of my clan trying to steal from the greenhouse. Needless to say I scared the living shit out of her the first time I caught her. Though I guess she didn’t seem scared off for long, as every night after that she came to gather her stolen herbs only to be stopped. The first real time I got a look at her was the night I finally got brave and caught her by the arm trying to run. She was beautiful, more so than any of the others in the clan, and there was just something about her that I was drawn to. Shianni, that was her name, and it seemed my mentor also knew her quite well. Farideh told me that she was trying to learn the art of potions as well, but her parents were pressuring her into another destined road. As unfair as I saw that, I understood. Though I wasn’t about to abandon her because of that, so I took nights to teach her what I knew, and of the herbs and flora in the greenhouse. At first the both of us were rather bashful about working together, but the awkward air soon turned companionable. Shianni became my best friend, and soon even more than that. I saw less and less of Farideh, as I had wanted to spend my nights with Shianni as much as I could, teaching her the potions, and maybe flirting a little too.
Our night time meetings became adventures. Shianni had taken me beyond the marketplace and homes, to places I never thought I would see. Needless to say the beauty of the forest back home in the elven realm is beyond words. We spent a lot of our time there, talking our nights away without anyone to bother us. The little games we would play there, it was almost like we had known each other since we were kids, and we just never grew up. The night she brought me to an enchanted pool to swim was one I will never forget. I hadn’t wanted to, she insisted. I’ll admit I was a little embarrassed when she stripped completely and got in. Other than seeing her in her normal clothing I had never seen her body to that extent, but she was so beautiful and radiant I’m pretty sure I made it weird by staring. We swam for a while before she decided on a game of hide and seek… With our clothing. Running nude through a forest hadn’t been my idea of a great time, but it was quite fun. That night we shared our first kiss, the sparks that came from that moment are something I desperately want to feel again… We quickly fell in love, it was wonderful, the happiest years of my life, and I fucked that up.
Years passed, our love grew stronger and we were near inseparable. My potions training turned to mastery, and in thanks for helping tutor his daughter Velaena in the herbal arts, the king was looking for a druid to train those abilities as well. Despite the Princess not wanting the actual training I was quite good at writing notebooks for her to give the illusion that she was actually studying what I was teaching her. Ultimately, though, she allowed me to see Shianni when I wanted to and I am grateful for that. The training of my Druid abilities was slow, and during that time I started working with poisons and experimenting on their different effects. The one night that I hadn’t spent with my loved one, I found a street elf offering a red substance in a vial. My curiosity got the best of me and I took some with the intention of experimenting with it. One taste was all it took for me to feel the amazing effects of the substance. It made me feel invincible. I hadn’t been aware of how fragile my kind was until then, but that made me feel like I could do anything without consequence. It felt good, so good in fact that I forgot what I had wanted to do with it, and all I could think about was how I never wanted that feeling to go away. That was my downfall. I started going to that elf for more of the drug he was giving out. Not only did I consume it, but I took to injecting it as well. The blending of the vampire blood in my own made it last so much longer, but oddly I had gained a taste for it.
Within a short amount of time I was addicted to the vampire blood. So much so that my behavior changed drastically. Shianni was the first to notice my change. She tried to help me, to get me off the blood. I should have listened to her, instead I ended up fighting her on it. We would argue a lot about it, I defended it, I couldn’t help it. The blood made me feel like one thousand men and that nothing could hurt me. I could have used this to protect Shianni, but I ended up hurting her instead. I don’t blame her for leaving me. The worst of it all was that I was arrested by the royal guard and taken to the king. No one would tell me who told him, but the King gave me an ultimatum. Leave the Elven realm for good, or die. So I left. I spent a majority of my time hunting vampires and finding ways to drain them of their blood to feed my addiction. I did this for centuries, leaving a trail of bodies that no one could follow, at least no one wanted to. From what I knew, I was seen as a hero to the humans for killing the things that killed and fed from them. To the vampires I was to be feared. One hundred years passed and I was found by a vampire and his companions. At first I had half a mind to kill him, but he offered me a trade. Join him, and he would feed my addiction. It was something that I couldn’t decline. I’ve been with Frost for a century now. He’s lived up to his promise, and I provide him and the others with poisons, and elixirs, and he provides me with my drug of choice.
