In high school, Junior

His parents divorced when he was maybe seven or eight. He was left in shared custody, but the divorce ended so badly that his mom wanted no remnant of his dad, and all but told the man to keep Nor too. After a cool down period, she did start to visit him every so often. She's never started dating again, but his dad has, and after about two years, he started seeing a woman several years younger than Nor's mother. This was and is still a tumultuous relationship that his dad devotes most of his time to. He's either brooding over it or kissing up to her for something he said or did in an argument.
