He's very flirtatious and easygoing most days. On the few days he isn't, he becomes cold and reclusive. He's in pain.

His soul was damaged by his demon boyfriend, whom he believes to be a succubus, and it continues to deteriorate as time goes on. Some days are worse than others, and those days he's less than lucid and prone to hallucinations, usually of some significance and concerning demons.

He dropped out of school right after middle school, but picked up the church 5 or 6 years ago and was educated in that.

He comes from a lower income family, and he was laden with anger management issues and the shortest fuse known to man. He got into fights often, made his mother cry just as often, and got into fights with his father even more than he did the former two. In that time, he met Wren, who became his boyfriend, and things only got worse from there. More fighting, more angry, less care for his parents and siblings, except for when he was around Wren. It was the only time he knew solace and peace. This all ended when a local father realized Afonso had a demon attached to him and told him as much. It took some effort, but he got Afonso to agree to an exorcism of sorts and freed him of Wren, who was feeding on his soul. Obviously, he was distraught that Wren was doing this to him, but he loved him. "All you had to do was ask."

Jerry

He claims to get headaches some days, but he just gets a sort of "xray vision" that allows him to essentially see people's soul content. He's also plagued by visions of demonic goings on elsewhere. Since his soul was fed upon, there's an open space that demons more often than not try to get in on.
