He has a difficult time working on schoolwork when other people are talking. He often finds a remote place to work, cancels out the noise with his earbuds, or when he agrees to spend time working Marie.

He becomes more irritable and nitpicky when deadlines draw nearer.

He's often felt like he's needs to become a pillar. He's motivated by his unborn child's death to do more, so that he'll be able to handle anything in his way.

He's also motivated by praise, which seldom comes his way.

He craves responsibility to feel valid as a person. Doing nothing means he's not contributing, so he'll often take on many projects/responsibilities . He desperately needs to know if he's doing enough. This stems from his father's constant belittling of his achievements and shortcomings in the past.

He has an extremely hard time relaxing.

His systematic way of approaching things makes him repress his feelings, but never his opinions. This will interfere with his love life and preferences on all kinds of subjects unrelated to work. Whether someone finds it cute or not is up to them.

He has a hard time depending on and trusting others because of his parents. He also has a hard time trusting himself when it comes to his feelings.

Xander feels as though its his fault of accidents or bad omens happening. From his parents divorce and his unborn child's death, he blames himself since his parents only stayed together for him and that he wasn't more successful/assertive as a man save his child from death.

He often shows hostility towards his mother since she visits so little as of late. She does have another husband and children, so Xander feels as though his mother's visits are becoming a chore for her rather than something she'd want to do. Their interactions usually end up cut short since she's often sent away. He also hold resentment towards her and his father for lying to him for so long in terms of their relationship.

He often avoids people with big friend groups. He knows his way of doing things are boring to some, so he'll assume it'll only be a matter of time before he's just known as some other person to hang with .

He's great at multitasking.

One thing he'll admit to enjoying is embroidery and cross stitching.

On the outside, he gives off the vibe of someone who's got it all figured out. He's got an answer or plan for almost everything, making sure to keep a level head in most situations. He is very systematic and keeps a routine for everything, almost as if his life depends on it. He rarely strays from a path he set for himself, often growing uncomfortable when things take a turn. He also has a hard time determining if someone is joking or not. He's always first to greet a person, whether he likes them or not.

He can be rather insensitive, but this only comes from his inability to truly express his thoughts and emotions through empathy.

Xander's successfully completed elementary school and highschool. He is now a sophomore in community college.

Xander was born into a decent home, his life consisting of a proper family and the occasional chore. However, he was met with the unusual emotional distance of his father growing up. He had an okay childhood over all. After finally divorcing his wife when Xander was 17, Xander’s father had grown colder and would often insist for Xander to strive for greatness in everything he did.
At 18, he found love with Amber O'Brian. The two hit it off fairly nice, despite Xander's father disapproving of their relationship. During their time, Amber had gotten pregnant, but Xander fully took on the responsibility of becoming a father. Unfortunately, Amber had gotten an abortion since neither she or Xander were ready to become parents, emotionally and financially. She wasn't really that far into the pregnancy, but it still devastated Xander to hear that she got an abortion. The two often began to fight because of this and eventually Amber ended the relationship with him. Xander's father was particularly hard on Xander during the time Amber was pregnant. He now continues his harshness as way to remind Xander to be better than he was in the past.
He now goes to a therapist after showing dangerous behavioral signs of suicide. His therapist is Bruce Moore.

Xander wasn't held a lot as a child. The result of this has made him quite touch starved, more than he might actually realize. However, he will reject this notion along with the idea of accepting help from others.

Xander's mother had often hinted at her diminishing feelings for Xander's father. Xander had often tried to ignore this, but it really turned his world upside down when his guessing turned out to be true.
