Self-preservation. At a young age, Arabella felt that the entire world would be against her, so she had to fight. She uses any method as long as she is successful and unharmed.

Like Ruuben, she’s has walked on eggshells around her family. Seeing Ruuben’s fate and having some of it directed towards her has made her intentionally ignorant to the suffering of her other sisters.

She’s a fish following the current always. She’s against change and always follows behind stronger individuals for her own guaranteed safe benefit. Switches sides.

Avoids any sort of conflict that may come her way.

She’s indifferent towards her own full-blooded sister, Maude. She sees Maude as another way of manipulation. Though she feels bad since Maude truly does love her and only her, Maude ultimately just another form of securing a safe position for herself.

Lacks compassion.

Arabella comes of as the shy, but responsible younger sister of Maude, countering her sister’s loud and childish behavior. She’s praised for this. She and Ruuben appear similar, having both quiet and responsible personalities, but Arabella’s isn’t as genuine as Ruuben’s.
Underneath all of that, Arabella cares only for herself and acquiring a position closest to Potentatus. She wants to become his favorite daughter not for the sake of his love, but for what his love can provide. (Protection, comfort,etc.) She’ll claw and claw her way up to the top and won’t stop for anyone, lest she’d like to be dragged or slowed down by them, which would lead to her perceived demise.

Like most people, she worships the Twin Gods and sacred beasts of the land.

Arrabella occasionally takes place in political discussions alongside her sisters Ruuben and Seraphina. Though she doesn’t provide much feedback, she’s still like to be kept in the loop of things.

Arrabella’s Level of education is high.

Arrabella and Maude come from the union between Naomi, a maid, and King Potentatus. Naomi had gotten close to the emotional king, eventually taking advantage of him and pressured him into having sex to sate her own desire one drunken night. While Naomi was in the wrong, Potentatus did not punish her for her actions, pining the blame on himself for taking advantage of a woman’s company. Unfortunately for Naomi, she did not become his next queen. Her daughters, however, did become princesses. Arrabella has noticed early that Naomi’s motherly care and attention was not genuine . It stemmed from Naomi’s obsession with the king, but rarely acted out against her. She put on a face, one that Potentatus would pity, so that she and her sister would be taken into the king’s Care.

Arrabella and Maude were the only siblings left with a mother to call their own after the assassinations of the mistresses Potentatus took on, save for Ruuben, of course. Naomi’s obsession for the king has spiraled out of control once people caught wind that he was remarrying. This took a toll on the twin princesses, who desperately tried to win his affection over from the others. After the purging of sirens, Arrabella and Maude shared the secret that Potentatus’s true assassin was their very mother. While they both kept their mouths shut, Arrabella had become aware that that the longer she kept this secret, the more the guilt would eat away at her. Though after awhile, Arrabella seemed to not care when the same hostility Ruuben was shown was being directed towards her and her sister. While Maude was more aggressive , Arrabella realized that there is no winning and that she must become the family favorite again.

Arrabella began to believe this secret held a very certain kind of power, one that would either allow her an escape or punishment.

The death of the second oldest princess, Altiora, caused great stress in the kingdom. It affected Arrabella more after overhearing Ruuben’s deduction with their father. Someone killed Altiora in a way that matched exactly how her mother had tried with Potentatus. Someone was angry at the elves of Rialta, or better yet, someone was angry with the royal family. Arrabella, being who she is, suspects everyone and wouldn’t hesitate to throw someone under the bus should they seem the slightest bit suspicious.

Arrabella’s favorite time of day is morning.

Arrabella’s relationship with her full blooded older sister is completely one sided. Maude shows genuine affection while Arrabella just sends back obedience and suspicion. Arrabella does not care for her sister more than she does the others.

Arrabella’s beef has to do with the second youngest , Calliope. Calliope is just as perceptive as Arrabella, but still doesn’t know the secrets she’s hiding.

Arrabella can be described as a hardcore teacher’s pet.
