Shaggy and loose

Quiet but can be really reckless. After the death of his father, he tends to get into a lot of trouble and has picked up self-destructive habits like getting into fights, getting drunk, ditching class, etc. Most importantly becomes addicted to taking narcotics. (main focus)

Very kept to himself and doesn't like to open up to anyone other than Finn Rowan , and even then he keeps it limited. However, he's still easy to talk to and presents himself to be a nice guy despite not looking too inviting. Doesn't know how to take care of himself.

Full-time student; major is art (is very very talented despite not having any motivation to pursue it)

Works at the local bowling alley

His dad was murdered when he was 12 and his mother left when he was 14.
One day when Will and his dad were coming home from a short family outing, they stopped at a gas station. His dad went in alone to get some snacks for everyone, upon Will's request for Red Vines, but took a while to come back out to the car where Will and his mom were. Will decided to go check on him but as he got up to the entrance, he noticed a figure holding a small hand gun up to his father's head (holding him at gun point up to the cashier for him to give him money). He hesitated to interfere, out of fear, but as soon as he opened the door, the bell went off and surprised the robber, resulting in him shooting his dad. However, the cashier was able to react fast enough afterwards and shoot the robber in the leg to stop him.
On the other hand, his mom left with her new boyfriend a few years after his father's death, not wanting to take care of Will anymore. She continues to reach out to Will only when she needs money, in which he gives her since he feels guilty.
