He has a habit of being standoffish on first meetings, but this is only out of shyness. He'll only need a short time to warm up to the environment, at which point he'll divide the room into people he doesn't want to associate with and people he doesn't mind so much.

He's always very respectful toward women and a little doubtful toward and untrusting of men. It's a defense mechanism of his, but he gets over it once he spends more time with the person of interest.

He's the type of person to help the elderly across the street, and he'll remember to tell anyone who tries to demean him later that he's THAT nice.

Lovino was born out of wedlock and his parents' relationship was shortlived, but they remained on good terms and stayed friends, even if only for his sake. He was raised by his mother for the most part, as his father worked a broad, but he did come to visit him.

Most memories of his dad are from very young ages. His visits were steady until he got married, and they became even less frequent when he and his wife started popping out kids like machines. He's spent time with his half siblings briefly on rare occasion, but he feels awkward.
