Ki is always very hyper and assertive. She doesn't have many personal boundaries or respect for personal space. She is careful not to actually get anyone wet, unless like Rei they can easily get rid of the water (A habit Rei taught her). While she shows a lot of disregard, she is good at reading people's moods.

Her fish reflect her mood, becoming slow and lazy when relaxed and faster and more hyper with her. They turn into scary "not fish" when she gets very angry or upset. Ki also has a tendency to create bubbles when really excited.

Ki likes to rhyme and talk in a song-like tone. She will come up with a nickname as a sign of friendship if one is not already being used.
She has issues with directions and navigation.

Ki spent most of her days splashing around in rain puddles and dripping water on unseeing humans to annoy them and amuse herself. She had little concern about her magic or in finding a mage to pair with.

One day while hopping through puddles, she met a young and crying child, Rei. Concerned that this human was apparently leaking water, she tried to cheer her up. It worked, and after some prompting Rei agreed to come play next time it rained. When they met again, Ki discovered this human had water magic very much like her own, and decided to keep her as a friend. They officially bonded shortly after and stayed close.

Ki helped Rei branch out from her restrictive family and encouraged her choosing her own path.

Misc:
-All fish are actually part of her and she can control them to a degree (more emotionally responsive than actual control), they are not alive or sentient
-If a fish dies it will dissolve into water and she will form a new one
