Petal met Brin after being severely injured in a freak thunderstorm. After grudgingly being nursed back to health, she learned a great deal about Brin and his dreams of being a mage. Knowing she owed him a life debt, she agreed to bond with him and become his familiar to help him join Greenchild.

-Prefers nonrestrictive clothing but likes looking cute (and with female fashion)
-Wings are normally thorn-like nubs on back (see pic) but can grow into leafy wings on command

-despite rudeness, Petal becomes very encouraging in her own way once she likes a person (kinda like Toph from AtLA?)
