Lani's not very outspoken and tends to avoid confrontation. When she's nervous, she messes with her hair a lot or wrings her hands together, and her voice takes on a breathy quality. She awkwardly laughs a lot.

She always crosses her ankles when she sits and rests her hands in her lap. Her posture is healthy until she's faced with disappointment, at which point she begins to slouch.

She gets crushes very easily.

She's shy and eager to compromise, even if she gets a bad deal out of it.

She often feels like a burden and doesn't ask for anything she wants or needs that she thinks might be a hassle.

She thinks where she is right now is fine, even when it gets uncomfortable or makes her outright upset.

She's very easily pressured.

She sees herself as very plain and undeserving, so she's more likely to serve someone else before herself.

In college

Lani's parents moved with her from Hawaii to the mainland United States when she was a young child, and they moved around for a while before settling in Jefferson. From the age of 11, she attended public schools in the state.

Even though she was far away, she kept a strong connection to her grandparents, who passed away only recently, leaving her to treasure everything they gave her growing up even more.

Her family was very strongly connected.

She specializes is Stage Management, but yearns to be on the stage. Any of her classmates that audition and make it into shows have her admiration, and alongside her admiration of them comes her nervous fear of talking to them.
