Nature

Mannerisms

Dalton likes to give off a cold and aloof air, which lets him seem like he's on top of everything. He keeps to himself and has very closed off body language except for when he plays the viola.

He does his best not to be sympathetic or empathetic anymore because he's learned that it's a weakness to those in his position. He's become very cynical and skeptical of others, and doesn't put any value into the meaning of family.

History

9/10

Education

The teeniest tiny bit of high school.

Background

Frederick was born with an older twin, Alden, and from the get go, he was obviously seen as the better of the two. As babies, Alden cried less, he learned to crawl first, he learned to walk first, and basically everything else. Frederick learned to talk first, but his only word for a while was "Nida" as in "Noodle" while Alden came immediately after with three words "mama," "papa," and "yeh," as in "yes." He surpassed him just like that.

As they aged, the ridge between them only became wider. Donna and Barry loved sports, and Alden was of course the more physically inclined of the two. Frederick considered himself more of an artist, but even that was mediocre. While Alden got straight A's, Frederick often got B's and so on.

Somewhere in the middle, kids picked up on his incompetence and bullied him. It was more attention than he ever got at home, but it obviously wasn't desirable. It kept getting harder and harder for him, so he thought that he just wasn't meant to lead a good and inspiring life. He could never achieve his dreams.

The day everything changed was when he was about nine years old and first used his magic knowingly, which he used to animate his "imaginary friend," a talking cat with sneakers, cousin to Puss in Boots. He spent the entire day trying to use his magic for other things and ultimately ended up fainting from exhaustion around his bedtime.

A few years later, he accidentally used it at school to defend himself from the kids who bullied him. That was the day he ran away, he couldn't find any way to explain what he did to those kids, and he didn't know if they would ever snap out of their trances.
