He's been in the training ground longer than any of the other kids, they were sent when they were ten year olds. He was sent as a baby, they didn't want to deal with the screaming one. so they gave it to the soldiers. he grew semi-loved, some of them have a soft spot for him, some hate him. because he
s been there longer he's been through more punishment methods then any of them. They had to create a new kind of punishment just for him.

(1) When Landers was little he snuck out to the presentational event they hold every month or so. He got out and starred at all the people, there were so many.
