so like originally he was one of my most powerful characters ever probably except I don't know how magic quite works in TW universe yet so I'm going to copy and paste what i originally had and then edit it once i figure it out

"Kirin is easily one of my most powerful characters. He is a mental manipulator, capable of mind-control, telepathy, and telekinesis. He can attempt multiple people at once, though it drains him easily. He also has to be nearby. "

Kirin’s mother died in childbirth, and his father was out of the picture since his conception so he has no idea who his parents are. He was cared for by an orphanage with kindly but neglectful caretakers, eventually ending up in Ban Ard as an older teen. He studied there and then went to Nilfgaard and worked there for a few years before they started their march, in which he joined them willingly.
Nowadays, he wonders if he made the right decision, but he thinks it's too late to turn back now.
