Can be clumsy and very clingy. When around unknown people he gets very nervous and tends to stumble on words. Can be very stubborn and will keep debating/arguing until he’s won.

His dad was a science professor and his mother was an artist. He always wanted to spend time with them and since his parents had a different time frame to each other when his dad was at work he’d draw with his mum and when his mum was working he’d work on his science and maths with his dad. He always liked the cold, and would become very giddy when there was snow.

When he was a child/teen he got bullied a lot, for multiple reasons. He was weak and very gullible, he wasn’t good at making friends so he never had anyone to stick up for him, he was never really interested in what the other kids were interested so he never understood their jokes and references. At one point he told himself he’d either commit suicide or do a 180 (which he didn’t want to do) , then a girl helped him with his depression since she knew how suicide effects others (her brother commutes suicide) . To this day Rory is always trying to impress her since he’s had a crush on her before they even met. When he was in college he became best friends with his roommate (now coworker) . Since he goes on explorations to colder places a lot he wears big puffy jackets and warm scarfs.

When he was a kid he never was good at sports mainly because of his small frame but also because he was to stubborn and didn’t want to do it, that caused him to have a scrawny build because of his lack of physical strength. He also got sick very easily when he was younger so he now takes a special medication which helps his immunity.
