Felix does not have any facial hair, much to his disappointment. He really wants a mustache.

Ectomorph. He's a teenager so of course he's tall and lanky now, but he probably will be that way even after he's stopped growing too.

His bleached white hair is pretty noticeable, as is his tendency to wear black and white clothing with small bits of color.

Felix's voice: Some stuttering when anxious, hesitant, ellipses, educated but not showy.

Belonging: Felix just wants to fit in and belong. Currently he believes that means he needs to conform to others' standards, but he's creative and odd which makes this very difficult.

Felix is very socially awkward and tends to embarrass himself in most social situations.
He also lets his fears get the better of him in general. His anxiety causes him to be almost cowardly at times.
Felix also is very susceptible to peer pressure. On one hand he values his uniqueness, but he also desperately desires to be liked by his peers.

Writing: Felix is very good at writing short stories and articles.
Guitar: Felix plays the guitar very well. He's not as good at composing melodies or writing lyrics as he would like though.
Shooting: Felix went hunting a lot with his mother. He can handle pistols and shotguns with ease.

Felix is very creative and imaginative. He loves writing stories and composing music to play on his guitar. Sometimes he lets his imagination get the better of him, but many times it also gives him the solution to a problem.
Felix is observant of the world around him. He naturally watches the people around him and often notices things the others miss. He has a good eye for details, and combined with his anxiety this helps him spot weaknesses in the group's plans.
Felix has a very active conscience. He does his best to not hurt other people, and you can count on him for honesty.

Felix has grown up with his single mother. His father left before he was born. Felix was always a creative and imaginative child, he loved the stories his mother would tell of the creatures in the woods. Unfortunately, money problems had them moving a lot, and combined with shyness and social anxiety this caused Felix to not have any close friends.
In school, Felix was great at most subjects, math and history being exceptions. He usually had no trouble falling into "nerdy" cliques and managed to avoid being a personal target of any bullies. Still, he spent most of his free time alone writing stories and playing guitar. Whenever his mother had free time, they would hike into the mountains to camp and hunt.
Another move had Felix joining a new school at the age of 16. This time, he pretty quickly attracted the ire of the gymnastics captain, Andre, and all hopes of making any friends were laid to rest. One day in Summer, while taking a small hike in the woods, Felix came across Andre and his friends. Shortly afterwards, all of them stumbled across a strange sight: An ornate spiral staircase sitting in a clearing. Felix had heard stories of the stairways in the woods from his mother and knew to never, ever set foot on one. But Andre and the others were curious. They dared Felix to touch it.
Felix finally stepped onto the stairs. He didn't want to spend another year being harassed by Andre and the others, and he hoped that earning their respect here would make his life easier. Besides, it's not like his mother's stories had ever done him any good. If anything they made him less likely to make friends whenever he repeated them.
Nothing happened after Felix touched the stairs and Felix breathed a sigh of relief. His bullies moved on without him, disappointed by the anticlimax. Felix decided not to tell his mother that evening, since nothing had happened. But late that night, the creatures attacked. Felix managed to escape out his window with his pistol, but froze after making it to the woods. His fear prevented him from keeping the creatures from taking his mother.
Since then Felix has been living with his maternal grandmother, slowly being eaten by the guilt of what his cowardice has caused. He refuses to believe that his mother is dead, but he doesn't know what to do about it either.

Felix is supposed to be the primary protagonist. But maybe he's not a good fit?
