- On and off of medication. When on it, notices that she's more focused, attentive and able to do homework faster. But off of it, her imagination rolls so much more.
- It's always a struggle for her to decide when to take it.

• Nuclear family (one mom and one dad). Identical twins with Scarlett.




• Parents were good but distant. Dad was usually home, and helped Emma and Scarlett with all of their homework. But sometimes was very moody, and both girls learned when to stay out of his way. (Dad had ADHD combined).




• Mom was always working, very distant. Almost more of a friend that popped in, greeted them, and went to bed upstairs, than a parent.




• Both parents knew that the twins had ADHD, and explained what it was to them, and explained to the twins that they didn't have that much money. Parents were only able to get some medication for the twins, citing it for "emergencies".




• Always was a little "strange" growing up, no Barbies for this girl, no thank you. She preferred science books.




• Was given an ultimatum by her "friends" at age 9: them or Scarlett. Emma obviously chose Scarlet, appalled that they kicked her out just because she looked different.




• Due to this incident, Emma has maintained that people are bad unless otherwise proven.

• Doesn't think she's a hero. Scarlett’s the hero, Scarlett’s is fearless and brave and always willing to do the right thing… once Emma nudges her towards it.
