Quirk: Reaping. He can reap the essence/soul from people's bodies, killing them in the process. Doing so adds their essence to his own, making him more powerful. He can sense how strong peoples' essence is.

Unlike all other Reapers, he can also control people by controlling their essence. He can force them to move around and can manipulate people's soul to make them feel things or to send them messages in their mind.

When he uses his quirk, his eyes turn red. The more he exerts himself the more bright red they glow. If he pushes his limits, darkness clouds around him.

Quiet for most of the time, dark, sarcastic. Prefers to be on his own. Won't admit that he needs the company of his boyfriend.

He enjoys watching horror movies with Ren. He also really likes to draw, he's pretty good, too.

Hates his father Hiroaki, a Villain who raised him as a villain, forcing him to commit atrocities to gain power.

Would do anything to protect Ren.
A bit prideful concerning his ability. He knows he's the most powerful Reaper in the world, and sometimes it gets to his head.

Confident but reserved. Tends to clench his fists when frustrated or angry.

Was raised to be a Villain like his father, but changed his ways after enduring his father's abuse for 14 years.

He was raised as a Villain by his father, and was forced to kill innocent people to gain power. After he escaped, he became a Hero, and fights against Villains. Because of his past, he feels disconnected from the rest of the Heroes.

This man exists to spite any existing god.

Born to Villain Hiroaki Sato and his wife Abigail. Inherited the Reaping quirk from his father; his mother had no ability. When Kai was 3, Hiroaki murdered Abigail to consume her essence, which was stronger than most. Hiroaki trained Kai to be a top Villain like himself, forcing Kai to murder innocent people and Pro Heroes to consume their essence and gain power.
When Kai was 14, he finally managed to overpower his father for long enough to escape the house and run away. He made his way to the Hero Headquarters and begged to be taken in by them. They knew of the crimes he had committed because of his father but decided to give him a chance to turn around. Kai has worked as a Hero since then.
Shortly after escaping his father, Kai met Ren Kaneshiro while on a mission to defeat a minor Villain. They instantly felt drawn to each other and became friends. After a year, they started dating. Only Ren and the other Heroes know who Kai's father is. Ren fully believes in Kai and strives to help him regain the confidence and individuality that Hiroaki destroyed.

Was only ever educated by his father, in the ways of Villainy. Apart from that, he knows what he needs to know to survive.
