Nature
Aristotle is a dreamer, often imagining a world where the fae and humans live peacefully together. He's an apprentice cartographer to King Michael Norwood and is drawn to the ambassador's quest due to his previous correspondences with Mab and his loyalty to both the crown and to his friend. Between Mab's visiting him in dreams and their letters back in forth, the two begin to fall in love, both young and naive members of royalty, Mab a faery queen and Ari a member of King Michael's advisory. Ari is not the best at determining a person's true motives and is therefore easily taken advantage of by ill-intentioned ambassadors who use him as a tool to get ahead. His naivety ultimately brings about his downfall, as he and Mab place their trust in the ambassadors, who later betray and kill them.
Naturally gifted when it comes to directions, talented artist.
To bring peace to the kingdoms of Ignis and Alchester.
Sketching, mapmaking. He tends to come up with small, easily contained stories that he tells to his companions, and is a fairly gifted storyteller.
Naive, puts his trust in the wrong people, pretentious.
Initially against the fae, until he begins to work with Mab and realize that they really aren't that different.
Social
A small bronze compass and a well-worn and highly detailed map of Alchester.
Orioles
Not much of a fighter, but he always carries a small knife with him.
Apprentice cartographer
Wants open, peaceful relations with Ignis.
Dark red
Tea
History
Following the death of his parents from illness, Aristotle and his older brother Byron Jacques set off for the palace. As the child of travelling merchants, he had been taught to read maps before he was even taught to read, and his natural knack for direction proved to be a valuable asset. He befriended Alessandra Treleven and Percival Olivier while living at the palace, and the three became close friends, only separating when Percy and Aristotle were sent to join the Expeditionary Forces while Alessandra remained at the palace. Aristotle and Percy stuck together for a bit before also parting ways due to differing assignments. While in the Force, Aristotle experienced what he believed were hallucinations, but were revealed to be the efforts of Queen Mab contacting humans. He befriended Mab, the two of them soon meeting in person and attempting to aide in human-fae relations. He and Mab also fell in love. Unfortunately, it wouldn't last, as Mab was soon nearly murdered (and as good as dead to humans) and he was stabbed.
