Sharpens her knives on her boot sole (the edges of Lupus boot soles are made of metal, sometimes edged with diamond. They can be improvised as a weapon), strokes the fur of her wolf cloak
Revenge on who killed her parents
Will step on others to get ahead, has her own agenda, is not a good team player
She automatically distrusts everyone who has not been proven a friend
Dislikes commoners, has been royalty her whole life so this is to be expected, she was taught that she was better than other people
Skilled in all types of fighting: hand-to-hand combat, fencing, staff-fighting, archery, etc.
Practicing fighting with all weapons available
Very rude and prickly, most people assume that she has nothing positive about her. Likes to pick fights, a result of her controlled palace upbringing. She’s cocky and prideful in her skills, and has reason to be. She was labeled a “problem child” by her teachers even before her parents died, because she would pick fights, yell at other students, and run wild instead of following orders. Since she was a princess, she considered her authority to be over anyone else’s, and this made her the rude leader she is. Is suspicious of everyone until they’re proven to be a friend, and even after she’s spent time around them she still doesn’t completely trust them. She wants to be a leader and can be a smart one, but lacks the experience or trust that make a leader a good one. Takes her opinion to be the best and only opinion, and thinks of herself first, always.
After a while being the quest leader, she became more trusting of her comrades and started thinking of them as wolves in a pack that she was the leader of. Her prickliness isn’t just an exterior, she’s prickly by nature. But it is partially a shell over the good person that is within us all. With trusting people like Arissa, she’s more comfortable with exposing this part of herself, because with others she thinks it’s weak to show kindness. She can be a tough and loyal leader, like an alpha wolf should be, ready for any attack. But she realizes that this doesn’t mean that she can’t care about anything. The reason she doesn’t care and seems to hate everything is that she knows that it hurts more if you do care, and then it disappears, like everything does. She learns to be strong and tough, and not be afraid to love at the same time.
Has PTSD from watching her parents get killed in front of her eyes, sometimes gets panic attacks. When these happen, she won’t let anyone touch her or come near her, and will storm off by herself until it passes.

History
January 13
Educated mainly in fighting tactics and battle, but can read, write, and do math
Annike was born as Crown Princess Annike Allaidh to the king and queen of Lupus. She has no siblings, as her parents wanted to make it easier for her to assume the throne some day, without any possible competitors. Until she was 10, she lived the life of a sheltered princess, not associating with anyone outside of nobility and rarely leaving the grounds. Her parents were really protective of her. She was considered a rebellious child, which was to be expected. She blew off her lessons to play with the other noble children, where she always made herself the leader of whatever they were playing. She would much rather learn to fight than study the intricacies of poetry, a fact that was apparent from an early age. When she was 10, she was enrolled in Lupinna, a training course that all Lupus children were required to take. It taught teamwork, survival skills, hunting, and fighting with a variety of weapons, all necessary skills for a young child. She excelled in all areas except where being part of a team was required, and often left her team to strike out on her own and complete her own task. Being a protected princess her whole life, she found herself surrounded with people who were afraid to talk to her because she was a princess. She knew that she was being noticed, but no one had the courage to talk to her. So she started picking fights with older children, partly to rebel and partly to just be noticed as something other than a sheltered princess who can’t handle the real world. When Annike was 14, rebels attacked the palace and her parents were killed trying to escape. She abruptly became queen, but decided to leave that to her advisors because she acknowledged that she wasn’t ready, but it was mainly because she wanted revenge, and couldn’t do that while running a country.
Family
Patron animal, a wolf named Syra

Notes
Annike isn’t supposed to be on this quest at all. She knew that it was going to happen, and needed an excuse to get revenge on her parents’ killer. She forced the Oracle to add her to the quest.
