Az was a fine man. Just doing what he does. He had managed a normal life, surprisingly. Even a girlfriend. But.....Something was wrong. He had a sort of interest in the whole heaven and hell subjects. Of course he would act on this, as that's how all stories start. Some would say he was out of his mind from the beginning. He studied, and gathered, and prepared for a ritual. One that would grant a trade with a devil. Maybe THE devil, perhaps. He traded a soul for life and power, beyond imagine. Though, he did need the soul. Without it, he lost all thought of caution. More deals. Less soul. Less sanity. Until he snapped. His house burnt down to the ground, his girlfriend dead. Murdered. His knife, large and sharp. He searched. For victims. Nothing more than destruction. And that was when he found someone. Someone not worth killing. Someone worth something. Torment? Life? Who knows.
