Quickwit is tall. He has narrow shoulders and large wings. His tail is long and thin and he might look a bit scary to some, if it weren't for the kind expression he always wears on his face.

Personality
Quickwit is soft-spoken and quiet. He can be a bit shy sometimes, and prefers to be in the background. He often folds his wings in a way that makes him seem smaller, and dips his neck down so as not to intimidate people with his height.
Quickwit is motivated by a simple want to survive happily. He just wants to live in his small little house, hang out with his friends, and as long as Shadow visits him every once in a while and sends him letters, he's fine with his life.
Quickwit isn't very ambitious at all. He's shy, quiet, and content to just accept life as it is without ever striving for something more.
Quickwit is a poet and writes almost constantly.
Quickwit enjoys writing, reading, and taking long walks in the forest to be in nature.
Quickwit is a bit melancholy. He claims it's just part of being a writer, but it is true that he has struggled with depression in the past. Ever since Shimmer died, and even before then, he tends to deal with pain by shutting himself off from the world. Once he discovered poetry, though, it has become an excellent outlet and coping mechanism for him and he is getting better at knowing himself and his own mind. That being said, Quickwit is also very kind and loving and gentle. People aren't afraid of him and he is a very passive person.

Quickwit has graduated from school.
Quickwit grew up in the Night Kingdom and has lived there ever since. When he was 25 he met Shimmer, and married her 2 years later. They had Shadow several years after that, and Quickwit continued to stay in the Night Kingdom after Shadow moved away.
