Oh boy.
First off, he's a bit of a klepto when it comes to reading material, except he's pretty sneaky about it. He won't snag it from you if you're reading it, but if you set it down, he can't help himself. If he sees it, he takes it.
Second, he rubs the backs of his ears when he's uncomfortable, to the point he's made them bleed more than once.
Third, when he's real focused, it's real easy for him to accidentally activate his semblance.
Fourth, he loves to do that little Korean finger heart and throw up deuces instead of actually saying bye or indicating that he actually cares a lot about you.
Fifth. Finger guns. Every awkward situation.
Sixth, has an incredible memory for people's stuff and "exit" locations.
Seventh, struggles with his confidence in so many ways.
Eighth, the brutality of childlike honesty.
Ninth, selective speech pattern. Ya. I ain't trust ya yet.

To never go back to the life he lived before Beacon.

The fuckin' worst in combat stamina. Like, two hits and you've knocked his ass out. Fuckin' run if he gets back up tho.
The hardest on himself for any of his mistakes. The hindsight is strong.

Resonance

Skye's Resonance ability has the ability to synchronize and de-synchronize everything that cycles via oscillations of varying sizes to increase or decrease frequency. Okay okay, the less complicated technical answer is vibrations. Skye can vibrate everything at different frequencies. If this sounds OP, it's because it is, and also because "vibrate" is a loose term for the back and forth motion of something at a rate that's usually associated with the most common "buzzing" sound of your Sonicare toothbrush even though literally everything else in the universe "vibrates". Anything that moves or changes at a regular rhythm "vibrates". Like your heart. <3 That's why you can hear it "beat". Anyway.
His semblance is one of the more uncommon "always-on" semblances, meaning it's always active at an almost unnoticeable draw from his aura, at least when it's confined to himself.

At this low power state, confined to himself, Skye typically synchronizes the vibrations that affect him directly, unintentionally harmonizing them into the preferable state for his mood.
As vibrations travel through mediums, touching Skye directly will spike his power state to expand his semblance to incorporate the toucher, more often than not ending up with the toucher being largely unnerved at his semblance. The more intimate he is with what he's in contact with, human, item, cat, the less it draws against his aura. The same power level applies across size, density, and purr power, meaning the larger something is the more aura it will draw, the denser (relatively speaking, many things play into this) something is, the more aura it will draw, and the stronger the purr the weaker he is. Oh. Semblance stuff.
Distance plays a great role too, the farther an object is from him, the more energy (read Aura) he has to devote to it to achieve the same effects.

Utility

Skye generally glows a soft white (yes, even in the dark hah) at all times, largely unnoticeable in normal lighting conditions. It's not necessarily bright but is certainly noticeable in poor to no light.
When using more aura than his "standard" draw, Skye's glow grows noticeably brighter in conjunction with the aura draw. Mo' aura, mo' brighter.

Lord this is a convoluted write-up for Skye. lmfao

Skye is literally the biggest dingdong. Honestly. He's so untrained in his aura and semblance use that he's self-limiting to whatever directly affects him and is currently only good at amplifying or dampening sounds outside of himself. His skill in sound-based vibration leads most to believe his semblance is only sound-based and hinders his exploration into other aspects of its usefulness.
Not so OP when you're a big dummy.
