Gerard ''The Way'' Norrington is the son of Medea Norrington, Yuki Strafford and Nicoletta da Firenze.

Following the Atlantic War, Medea renounced her role as Laurel's protector and host. Laurel was sympathetic to this and granted her an honourable discharge so she may live out the rest of her days with her family.

After some time as a blissfully childless married couple, Medea Yuuki and Nico discussed the idea of having a child, to which the pink-haired girl happily approved since she felt ready.

Although they were thinking about fecundation in vitro or artificial insemination, the Underworld Queen paid the happy lovers a visit, Medea told her about their plans about having a baby together and thought about it, taking Medea to talk in private and telling her to have dinner, spend a nice evening with her girlfriends and then have a passionate night together, she gave no explanations to her at the time but Medea did as she was told to, not like it'd be hard for her.

Some tequila and a hot, steamy night later, Nico started feeling, weird.
Mood swings, puking, and such whatnots. They went to the doctor due to concern that this could afffect Nicoletta's eventual pregnancy, but Nicoletta was in fact pregnant already.

The Goddess later revealed that she wanted to give her favourite human a surprise on their anniversary, so she had Anthony send an unknown soul for rebirth, while Medea, Yuuki, and Nico were wearing each other that evening.

Nine months later, the blessed child was born and was given the name Gerard.

Gerard is the best friend and team partner of Freki's daughter Juni Moriarty.

TRIVIA:

• In Norrington's Desire, Gerard stands out as the sole biological child born to same-sex parents. What's more, he is a rare individual with three biological parents: Nicoletta, Miyuuki, and Medea, all contributing to his DNA.

• Gerard was named after My Chemical Romance's frontman Gerard Way.

• As of yet, it is uncertain whether Gerard has inherited any of Medea's magical talents or Yuuki's vampiric characteristics, as there have been no indications of such abilities manifested in the boy in 15 years.
