He can be petty and egotistic, and he tends to be too curious for his own good.
He can be quite charming, and is wonderful at being resourceful and creative. He also is able to speak any language, although English is his favorite because of how stupid he finds it.

History
October 17th, the Paleozoic Era
SO Xellis is about 6.5 million years old. Considering the world is roughly 1.4 billion years old, he’s VERY young for a god. Like 19 in human years.
He was birthed from the discovery of travel, back when the world was new and still needing to be explored. From the mortals’ curiosity, Xellis was given a form— the first picture of him ever portraying him holding a compass in one hand, a scope in the other, a quill behind his left ear, and a ton of unfinished maps in his belt. As humans continued to search the earth and discover new things, Xellis grew more powerful, but was still a juvenile god. He was mischievous, not because he liked trickery but more because he often got himself into trouble based on his own curiosity. This is why ships sometimes went missing in places like the Bermuda Triangle, which is a place now created by some of Xellis’ childish mistakes. Because of these mistakes and sometimes over-excess of curiosity, people would be pushed to discover more, and get themselves into trouble.
Xellis was also always depicted in pictures as “animalistic,” because the unpredictability of traveling was like the unpredictability of, say, a cat. From these factors, the phrase, “curiosity killed the cat” was birthed.
However as humankind kept discovering and kept learning, kept inventing, the praise for Xellis was lost. People started just giving attention to their own inventions, praising the technology for their safety— not Xellis any longer. Now, the god of travel lives out his days in Zayanzar’s manor in a place called Maelatin, aka “The Gods’ Plane.” Zayanzar is his matriarch, and also the Goddess of Culture and Worldly Socialization.
